Aces and Faces - Free Video Poker Games
You can play this game for real money at WinADay Casino.
Aces and Faces Instructions
Aces and Faces is a version of Jacks or Better video poker. In this game, you will win on your bet if you receive a pair of jacks or higher. The only difference between these two games is a slight variation in the payout chart.
The game Aces and Faces has a bonus win if you receive Four Aces or Four Jacks, Queens or Kings. You will receive an 80 to 1 payout if you receive 4 Aces. You will receive a 40 to 1 payout if you receive 4 Kings, Queens or Jacks. The normal payout for these hands in Jacks or Better is 25 to 1.
Since this bonus is offered, some of the other payouts are lowered to compensate for this. The Full House and Flush payouts are lowered to 8x and 5x respectively (from 9x and 6x).
Game Instructions
First, you can select the number of hands that you want to play. The 1 button is selected by default; but 3 hands, 5 hands, 10 hands, 25 hands, and 50 hands.
Next, select the amount you are going to bet per hand. The default is 0.10; but you can also select 0.25, 0.50, 0.75. 1.00, 2.00, 3.00, and 5.00. You can also click the HI button to bet 5.00 and the LO button to bet 0.10.
Once you have selected those two options, click the Deal button. You will receive 5 cards (the same 5 cards if you play more than 1 hand). You will be able to hold or fold each of those cards; these cards may automatically be held by the computer if the situation calls for it. You can still make changes and override the computer decision.
When you are ready, click the Draw button. You will receive new cards for the ones that you folded. If you selected more than one hand, each hand will receive different cards. If you have a winning hand after the draw, you will see the payout amount that you won.
You will then have a choice whether to Collect your winnings or click Double for a double or nothing wager. If you decide to Double, you will have 5 new cards appear on the screen. The first card will be flipped over. You will be required to click on one of the other 4 cards. The object is to receive a higher ranked card then the card that is flipped over. The Ace is high.
With the double or nothing game, you will be looking good if the up-card is 2, 3, 4 or 5. You are alomst guaranteed to lose if the up-card is Queen, King or Ace. I would suggest that you not play the double or nothing game more than once.
